Ha Giang 2 Days 1 Night Motorbike Tour

Day 1: Ha Giang City – Pac Sung Pass – Heaven Gate – Lung Tam Village – Yen Minh – Hmong King Palace – Dong Van Town

Start Time: 8:00 am, from our office in Ha Giang City

• Upon arrival at the office, the Ha Giang Discovery Team guide and driver will provide a safety briefing for riding with our experienced drivers. You will be equipped with protective gear for motorbike riding, and the guide will go over the detailed itinerary for the next two days.

• Morning Adventure:
  Begin the journey by riding through winding mountain roads, heading toward Pac Sung Pass, sitting at over 1000 meters above sea level. As you ascend, the cooler temperatures and impressive landscapes will set the tone for the day. Upon reaching the top, you’ll enjoy the panoramic views and have the opportunity to take photos while sipping coffee at a local café.

• Journey to Heaven Gate:
  Continue the ride through limestone mountains and scenic villages until you reach Heaven Gate. Here, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the deep valleys and rocky landscapes, a sight that will leave you in awe. After admiring the scenery, you’ll descend into the valley to visit Lung Tam Village, home to the Dao minority people. In this traditional village, you’ll have the chance to interact with locals and visit a family to learn more about their culture and lifestyle.

• Lunch and Karst Plateau:
  After passing through Quang Ba and Tam Son, you’ll begin to notice the distinctive karst limestone formations of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. Stop for lunch at a scenic viewpoint, where you’ll overlook stunning terraced rice fields.

• Afternoon Exploration:
  Following lunch, the journey continues toward Dong Van. You’ll see more terraced rice fields and rock formations as you explore the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a significant geological heritage site. Along the way, you’ll pass hidden villages nestled in the valleys and visit the Hmong King Palace, the former residence of the Vuong family, for a glimpse into the history and architecture of the Hmong people.

• Evening in Dong Van:
  Arrive in Dong Van Town for the night. After checking into your hotel and having dinner, you can explore Dong Van Ancient Town at night, strolling through its narrow streets and enjoying the local culture.

Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Yen Minh – Ha Giang City

• Morning Ride to Ma Pi Leng Pass:
  After breakfast at your homestay or hotel, embark on the second day’s journey. Today’s highlight is the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass, often referred to as the most beautiful part of the Ha Giang Loop. From this stunning viewpoint, you’ll see the Nho Que River winding below, cutting through the steep cliffs.

• Breathtaking Views and Cultural Encounters:
  After crossing the pass, the route takes you through more stunning landscapes as you head back toward Yen Minh. Along the way, you’ll encounter local hill tribes, including the Hmong people. Their colorful traditional clothing and unique way of life will add another layer of cultural richness to the tour.

• Return to Ha Giang City:
  Continue the ride through equally scenic roads, making your way back to Ha Giang City. Expect to arrive in the late afternoon, where your journey with Ha Giang Discovery Team will come to an end.

• Ride your own Dirt Bike XR 150 CC for an additional cost of $60 per person.
• Note: This tour is available with a driver (Easy Rider), or you can ride your own bike. Please make a request if you prefer to ride solo.
