Next, head to Sapa, a charming mountain town 1,600 meters above sea level in Lao Cai province. With its crisp mountain air and wild, natural beauty, Sapa is a top retreat in northern Vietnam. Conquer Fansipan Peak, wander through the vibrant Ham Rong Flower Garden, and marvel at the Muong Hoa Valley. Other must-visit spots include Silver Waterfall, Love Waterfall, Ban Ho Village, Sapa Market, Cat Cat Village, and Ham Rong Mountain.
Day 01: Ha Noi – Ha Giang City (350km: D)
06h30: The driver will pick you at your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter.
07h30: Pick up and departure from Noi Bai Airport.
10h30: The bus stops at Tuyen QuangCity(have lunch by yourself).
13h30: Driver will drop you off at hoteland then check-in hotel in Ha Giang City.

Thon Tha, Ha Thanh Village -Thisis a small, beautiful village inhabited by the Tay people, located about 6 km from Ha Giang City. The village boasts ancient houses on stilts, terraced rice fields, and, most notably, a stunning waterfall perfect for leisurely walks.

19h00: Have dinner and come back the hotel. Then having free time.
Days 02: Ha Giang City – Lung Cu – Dong Van Town (175 km: B + L + D)
07:00: Have breakfast at the hotel and proceed to check out of your room.
07:30: The car and tour guide will pick you up. Immediately after, begin a sightseeing trip around Ha Giang Loop:
Cross Bac Sum Pass – the first slope welcoming you to the “Dong Van Karst Plateau GeoPark’’. At this point, we’ll simply drive through.
Heaven’s Gate Quan Ba – Stop to capture the picturesque view of the Nui Doi twin mountains at the top of the slope.
Can Ty Pass – Reaching an altitude of 1000-1200 meters above sea level, marvel at the breathtaking and majestic scenery.
12:00: Enjoy local food for lunch in the small town of Yen Minh before continuing the trip.
Tham Ma pass – Stop at the summit of the slope to enjoy the stunning landscape. To reach this point, you’ll traverse 9 interesting passages.
Visit Sung La valley and Lung Cam – Explore this small village featuring classic Hmong houses, including a visit to Pao’s house.
Hmong King’s Palace – This historically significant site used to be the residence of the most powerful Hmong people and was considered their palace, designed in a distinct Chinese architectural style.
17:00: Arrive in Dong Van town and check into the hotel.
Dong Van district marks the starting point of Vietnam, sharing a border stretching hundreds of kilometers with China. The population mainly comprises various ethnic minorities, including Hmong, Tay, Nung, Lo Lo, Co Lao, San Chi, San Diu... among others, with Hmong being the predominant group (about 70%). One of the most renowned attractions is the Dong Van Old Quarter, historically a significant trading center and maintaining its importance to this day. On Sunday mornings, Dong Van Old Town bustles with a lively market where locals from all around gather to buy and sell goods.
19:30: Enjoy dinner at the Old Quarter, followed by a leisurely walk.
Days 03: Dong Van - Lung Cu - Meo Vac (490 km: B + L + D)
07:00: Enjoy breakfast and then check out of the hotel to head towards Lung Cu.
(On Sunday mornings, there are opportunities to visit the local market of ethnic people in Dong Van town.)
Lung Cu flagpole – Discover the beautiful Lo Lo Chai village nestled at the foot of Long Son Mountain, home to the Lo Lo minority people. The village retains its unique houses and boasts friendly locals, making it an ideal place to explore on foot.
11:30: Return to Dong Van town for lunch. Afterwards, continue the journey along the famous "Happiness" road.
13:30: Ma Pi Leng Pass – Positioned at an altitude of over 1200 meters above sea level, providing a breathtaking mountainous vista spanning Vietnam and China, with the Nho Que river below. It’s a fantastic spot for sightseeing and photography. You can also make a stop for tea or coffee at Panorama Coffee (self-payment of about 60,000 VND).
14:30: Explore the Nho Que river by boat and then proceed to visit Meo Vac town.
16:30: Arrive at Pa Vi village in Meo Vac and check into the homestay.
19:00: Enjoy dinner at the homestay and unwind.
Days 04: Meo Vac – Ha Giang City – Ha Noi (60 km: B /L /D)
07:00: Enjoy breakfast and check out of the homestay before returning to Ha Giang city. During the journey, explore:
Meo Vac town – Situated in a highland district adjacent to the China border, sparsely populated and predominantly inhabited by the Hmong people, constituting about 70% of the population. The Hmong have a tradition of living in the high and challenging mountain ranges. (On Sunday mornings, they gather for trade and social interaction at the Meo Vac town market.)
Lung Tam village – A handicraft village of the Hmong people situated in the heart of Lung Tam valley.
Nam Dam village – A beautiful and serene small village of the Dao people, approximately 2 km from Quan Ba town, famous for its houses built with local soil and herbal medicines.
13:00: Enjoy lunch at Quan Ba town.
16:00: Arrive in Ha Giang city and wait for the bus pickup at our office for the journey to SaPa. (We provide a free restroom.)

16:00: A Limousine Bus will pick you up from the office and take you to SaPa town.
22:30: Arrival in SaPa town, check into the hotel, and have free time.
Option 2:
20:00: Board the sleeper bus from the office. (Bid farewell to Ha Giang and head to SaPa.)
03:00: Arrival in SaPa town. Our local guide will be waiting to pick you up and assist with hotel check-in
Days 05: Sapa Trekking – Cat Cat – Sin Chai - Fansipan (B / L / D)
07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
08:00: The local tour guide will pick you up for a 2 km trekking excursion to Cat Cat Village of the Black Hmong tribe. En route, you'll have the opportunity to visit SaPa market, observing three ethnic minority groups exchanging various products such as vegetables, woven brocades, handicrafts, embroideries, and traditional clothes. Explore the villages to witness a beautiful waterfall and a power plant constructed by the French during colonial times in 1925. You'll have 40 minutes to enjoy performances by boys and girls from the village before trekking 3.5 km back to SaPa town.
11:30: Enjoy a picnic lunch by the riverside or opt for lunch with a local family on the way to Sin Chai Village, located 3 km from Sin Chai, the village situated at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, known as "the roof of Vietnam and Indochina."
14:00: Return to SaPa town. Here, you have the option to purchase tickets for the Fansipan cable car (price: 850,000 VND – self-payment) or freely explore the town.
19:00: Enjoy dinner at the hotel or a restaurant. Afterward, you're free to explore SaPa town, visit the market, and indulge in shopping. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Days 06: Sapa Trekking - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B/L/)
07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
08:00: Embark on a 12km trek down to Muong Hoa Valley, known as the most beautiful valley in SaPa, inhabited by local hill tribes working on the Rice Field Terraces. Trek downhill through Ylinh Ho and Lao Chai Villages on a small trail for 3.5 hours, reaching a steep mountainside adorned with terraced rice paddies cultivated by an ethnic minority group. Learn about the unique customs of the Black Hmong people.
12:30: Have a picnic lunch by Muong Hoa stream. After lunch, continue trekking along a small terrace of Rice Paddies with Hmong People to Tavan Village, a village of the Dzay Tribes.
14:00: Transfer back to SaPa town. Enjoy free time to explore SaPa Town. Return to Hanoi by bus.
20:00: Arrive at the bus office in Old Quarter Hanoi.
